Room was clean tidy. Comfortable. And got an upgrade with was so kind of them. Big rooms with a proper kitchen and laundry. So nice to have a bath tub to relax. Painting was a bit not in sync with the heritage building I think.
Handy location, with lots of restaurants nearby. My room was really beautiful, with access to a verandah balcony.
Nice hotel & helpful staff, but have rated it low due to the fact that there is so much noise from the surrounding pubs & nightclubs that I could not actually sleep (which defeats the purpose of using a hotel).Perhaps this venue could be a good option for those travelling during mid week periods, but I really can't recommend it to anyone looking to get sleep on a weekend....
Impossible to sleep due to noise. Everything else was fine, but if a resident is unable to sleep then nothing else matters.Woken both mornings by people in the courtyard swearing, bars emptying their bottles into large bins, and then garbage trucks at 5:00am outside. I understand Quest cannot change what happens outside, but they can definitely improve the noise insulation. The old-style single glazed windows are pathetic and it sounded like there actually wasnt a window as I could clearly hear normal conversation occuring outside throughout the night. Definitely wont be staying here again.
Had a great stay here & the room had everything we needed. The only reason I couldnt give five stars is the shower temperature had a mind of its own & would go from hot to cold constantly & the noise from the pub below our room. But we are not overly finicky people so this didnt bother us too much
