This is the worst place Ive ever stayed at. We booked 5 nights accommodation at Pacific Suites Canberra in a 2 bedroom apartment. We checked in and went up to our room on the 6th floor, I immediately expressed concerns to my family that the road noise was going to be very load and disturbing of a night. We then went down and asked reception if they had any rooms away from the main road or anything that may be quieter. The staff were not at all interested in helping us and said the whole place was booked out. After the first night of intolerable road noise and limited sleep we asked the staff and manager if we could cancel our accommodation, their response was not great or helpful by telling us that there was a 2 night no refund policy ($460). We couldnt afford to spend any more for accommodation on our holiday so I then had the worst 5 nights sleep in my whole life. On their website they say there is construction work on at the moment and yes they are correct, but Ive never seen construction work last all night including in this 5 hours of jackhammering from 11pm to after 4am. A tram line is being built out the front of the hotel so the noise is only going to get worse. This really was a bad experience overall.
Good well equipped apartment with two bedrooms and bathrooms. Not a scenic area but lots of good restaurants close by. Only drawback was great air-conditioning in living area but nothing not even a fan in the bedrooms. Elevator very slow.
Pretty good place for a family. Stayed at the single bedroom apartment and it has plenty of room with a big spacious balcony. Price are pretty good as well and the staff are friendly.
Dated, there were construction works going on next door that was literally 24/7 And no mention of this on their website also their restaurant has closed permanently and again no mention of it r either the opp actually spouting it's gastronomic delights ! Asked for extra towels 3 times and I'm still waiting
We have stayed here for many years for work. Rooms are spacious and adequately furnished. Spare blankets could do with a better wash. Restaurant and bar are no longer operating which was a bit sad but conveniently located within an easy walk of plenty of other options.
