I went into this branch to pick up a new credit card, which required being identified and then having someone activate the card. I returned home to use the card online, only to find out that the card had not been activated. I called the branch only 45 minutes after leaving and they had no record of my visit and no record of my identification, and told me that I would need to return to the branch in order to be identified and to have my card activated. There was no apology for the incompetence or inconvenience and I was simply hung up on. I had spent an hour traveling to and waiting at the branch in order to be identified and have the card activated, and neither was done. Absolutely horrendous and abysmal service - stay away.
Update to my previous comments! Things have a bit changed from last couple of months since my earlier comments. Good to see that Customer feedbacks form google are taken care of. I can say I had a seamless banking and lending experience now with the staff. One star less at the moment to show rating increase from last time.
It is shocking that staff in this branch have a job. Appalling. They are a bunch of inefficient morons. As a Westpac Shareholder, it was very disappointing to see how they were treating their customers. Absolutely unacceptable in this day and age.All of them need a reality check. They need to be walked out of the door to realise the pain they cause to the customers who pay for their salaries.
The staff at this branch are rude and hopelessly incompetent. Don't believe me? Look at the other reviews. The only positive review is from somebody who doesn't even live in Australia :/
I wanted a teller rather putting my money in bag. The young lady teller was bordering on rudeness with the attitude she was doing me a favour.
