It's a Palace, what more can I say. Excellent films, cheese, wine, olives a delightful cinema experience.Back for more soon.

Why is this cinema always so hot? The air-con is non existent, particularly down the rabbit warren of cinemas 7 and 8. In the recent heat wave, places such as cinemas are meant to provide welcome relief...not at Cinema Electric! Theres nothing like sitting in your own sweat for a few hours to set the tone for a great date night :

A high quality cinema in a beautiful building. It is a subtly different experience to the other 'majors' in town - from the front desk to the cinemas themselves, it's less vanilla. Prices are in line with everywhere else and parking is expensive but plentiful

Ive been a movie club member for more than 4 years. I enjoy going to Palace in Canberra. To the man sitting beside me in Vice on 18 December 2018. Palace Cinema encourage eating and drinking in the cinema and this makes the business commercially viable. It was a 6pm movie and the cinema was almost full for an advance screening. I had a glass of wine and had eaten 1 chip when you very rudely said to me Are you here for dinner or to watch the movie. If your tolerance of humanity is this low I strongly suggest you stay home so you dont ruin the evening of other cinema goers.

Excellent cinema showing a wide variety of current and world movie. Rad bar with delicious drinks and platters to keep you occupied before your movie starts. A wonderful place.
