Value for money. Best movies aren't in theatres 5 to 8. Best movies have more comfortable seats. Don't book too late if the movie is popular.
The cinema is good in terms of a variety of movies they screen. The staff is helpful and is keen on making you feel welcome.However, the seats are not very comfortable especially at the new upper level cinemas.
My review 5 months ago: Love Dendy!! Their choc tops are delicious, staff are usually friendly and cinemas are clean - 5 starsMy review now: very disappointed that Dendy brought back their booking fees after doing a massive campaign saying no more booking fees. So you go in-person now to buy your tickets and they have nearly no staff working so it takes ages! The staff are still nice but I'm not too impressed with Dendy and their backflip.
Great movie complex. This has become a regular part of our lives recently. Easy to park adjacent to the entrance in under cover parking. Plenty of choices for movies to watch and good pricing for regular patrons. Looking forward to many more great movie experiences at Dendy Canberra.
The Dendy Canberra is a large complex and has a two large old style seating cinemas for blockbusters. The Candy bar is OK...it has the usual range of snacks and reasonable coffee service; thankfully none of the 'serve yourself' lines that mega complexes in the major cities have. The staff, I have found, are unerringly very polite and helpful. It's not perfect, but then no-where is.
