This place is great, lovely atmosphere and yummy coffee. The outdoor sitting area is cool and shady for summer. The staff are amazing and put in a special effort to make you feel extra welcome. Awesome service for regulars!!
With so many cafes and coffee spots in the area its hard to see how one coffee spot can stand out so far from the crowd. Thats exactly what the bearded bean does. Tom and Joe make an awesome foundation and are supported by fantastic staff. Never had a bad experience at the bean. Having moved back home to Perth, this is the one thing I really miss about my time in Canberra. In a crazy, political, public service town, the bean provided an oasis of sanity and a feel of close family. Thanks Tom.Geoff Bell
