Great food that meet a range of dietry requirements. Loved the king fish and the eggplant was amazing!! Some great cocktails but served with just a little too much ice compared to drink ratio. Otherwise, a lovely night out

All-round nice authentic Japanese restaurant! If you're looking for Japanese food in Canberra city, this is a good choice. With a convenient location, friendly and mostly capable staff, with some weird and wonderful dishes and funky drinks all available at a moderate price. What more can you ask for? I would personally recommend the fried chicken and king prawn fried rice dishes with an Akipop strawberry-blueberry-lime soda. Great place, would recommend!

Absolutely amazing food and service. However, the owner may need to rethink their staffing and not run them into the ground! The service to get drinks and food took a little bit (15 minutes once seated). This was mainly due to one staff member having to control and service 6 tables with over 10 people each on them.In my experience, there should be a more than 1 waiter. None the less, the guy waiter was amazing and the food was amazing!

Akiba is always a great experience. Absolutely delicious food at totally reasonable prices with friendly service on top. Do yourself a favour and make a booking or even just pop down and they'll always do their best to accommodate you. I'd like to suggest dishes but everything I've had there is brilliant. Honestly. Just do it.

Cracking restaurant! 100% recommend. Great food and service was outstanding. Meagan was a top notch waitress. She looked after us with our near 4 year old fussy eater. A must go to.
