I want to start by saying we called and explained this issue and our disappointment to the company, gave them a chance to rectify, but they chose not to do anything.We were quoted $500 to move 25mins away to a ground level home. All items were boxed and ready to go in our 2 bedroom apartment for two adults, so not exactly a huge family move. We have had several moves in/out of apartments before, and NEVER before have I seen movers work so slowly. Maybe this had something to do with being paid for every extra 15mins on the job including the transit.Not only were they late to arrive and dented the wall of our new home, the delay in the move was so grossly misquoted that we were then charged an additional $700 on the spot before they would leave. We expressed our disappointment over the phone to the company, who provided no assistance or apology.This company grossly misquoted us and took far longer than anticipated. If it wasn't for us getting in there ourselves, we would have been paying for an extra hour or two on top of the surprise $700. In comparison to my past 11 moves, this was slow and overpriced. I felt like I was being taken for a ride. Moving from QLD to ACT was a third of the price we paid here. I was extremely surprised in the lack of assistance from the company at the end of the move.I would not recommend.
