Left my backpack and MacBook in a Civic pub on Friday night. Went back next day, cannot find them, thought I will never see them again. Turns out someone picked backpack up and drop off at the police station. There are still good people out there. And the police officers been very helpful.

If there was a zero star or negative star, I would choose.My friend and me visit this police station as he was robbed and beaten by other guys in city. The police station keep the footage clearly show the criminal happened. However the police man was so rude and not very professional! He did not have patience to take a look the evidence and do not let my friend asked his lawyer to engage in a lawsuit!!!As a police,can not protect a good man means he protect a bad person!He wastes all the Australian Tax!So terrible experience!!! It's the Capital shame!
I get better customer service from teenagers working in Maccas. If you are paid to serve the public then at least sound you care on the freakin phone!!!
By far the worst hotel in Canberra!!!Firstly, No WiFi, is this really 21st Century?Where to start?Basic, 25 thread count bedding.Sub-par shared bathroom, available only on special request.Room service is less than desirable.The staff are made to wear a dreary uniform.The valet didnt park my car.The concierge was heavy handed with our luggage and seemed insulted when I offered to tip for better service. The next morning, my grandmother and I, appalled by the previous night's service, demanded an apology. This was largely ignored, shocking customer service.When continued to complain to the manager, however, all they were willing to offer was another night's free accommodation. Needless to say, we were not interested.However.. surprisingly pet friendly.1 star: May stay again next St Patrick's Day.Sorry for the bad choice on your 108th birthday Grandma, there is always next year...maybe.
