Reading through the bad reviews I wouldn't be surprised if we were all served by the same women. I'm normally very happy with bupa service but this experience was so bad that I'm actually writing this review whilst sitting across from the lady. Honestly. Shocked. Rude. Sharp. Unhelpful. Demeaning. Immature. I could go on
worst service ever. I was about to get quote and pay for it, the staff told me to search online . Never go there again
My husband just went by there and was treated extremely poorly by the staff (not sure of her name - but she insisted she had been working there for 7 years and the questions we had were either not something she was familiar with or she "couldn't do it"). Was not at all helpful with the issue (getting reimbursement for contacts ordered under his name instead of mine) and didn't even want to TRY and find a solution. Also asked about a medicare cap on out of pocket expenses (our doctor told us to check if BUPA also recognizes this cap as we would be reaching it this year with a pregnancy) - rather than search for information or ask someone the woman said "I have worked here for 7 years and never heard of such a thing" - basically giving him the shortest, robotic answers to get him out the door. He asked her several times to search for additional answers or solutions and she was unwilling. From now on will be going to the BUPA in Belconnen as they are always so friendly and helpful, even if the issue is difficult or the solution unknown to begin with.
